Leaders Eat Last
Recently, I watched this video from Simon Sinek about where the title of his book ' ' Leaders Eat Last 'came from.
One statement very much stuck out to me... " There's no good leaders, or great leaders, you are a leader or your not."
By definition of the video, leaders are the ones that instinctively without weighing out the pros and cons will throw themselves on you to protect you.
One question I receive a lot in the Upper Levels studio, is " why do we have so many servant leadership badges, what's the point?" In addition, to offering the learners a humbling opportunity of serving their community, I am hopeful it teaches them to " eat last" and inspire others to do the same as they move forward on their journey.
